THE STORY Our founders, Danny and Joe DiBruno, hail from Abruzzo, Italy (back of the mid-calf, using the traditional boot model), lending their homeland’s name to many of our favorite products. Sun-dried diavolino (“little devil”) peppers are the ubiquitous seasoning in this region. Though South Philadelphia may be a far cry from the lush pastoral vistas of Abruzzo, Danny and Joe chose to evoke their native seasoning tossing a healthy sprinkle of red chiles into dishes that have become local classics.
